Cortexa uses essential cookies for authentication, security, session continuity, and OAuth login flows. These cookies are required for the service to function and cannot be disabled through the preference controls.
Essential cookies may include secure session cookies, refresh/authentication cookies, and temporary cookies used to complete OAuth sign-in and protect against forgery or session tampering. If these cookies are blocked, sign-in, billing, and protected application features may not work correctly.
2. Optional analytics and diagnostics
We use optional diagnostics and analytics tooling, including client-side error monitoring, only if you accept optional cookies. You can reject optional cookies without losing access to the core application.
Optional analytics and diagnostics are used to understand feature usage, troubleshoot crashes, and improve reliability. They are not required to create an account, sign in, upload documents, or use RAG features.

4. Preference management
You can accept or reject optional cookies from the banner shown on first visit, and you can change your choice later in Cookie Preferences.
5. Browser storage
In addition to HTTP cookies, Cortexa uses local storage for non-sensitive interface state such as theme preference and consent settings. These values do not replace the service's secure authentication cookies.
We may also store a record of your cookie preference so that the banner is not repeatedly shown after you make a choice. This preference record does not authorize optional analytics by itself; it only records your selection.
